Soaring Club,

This club provides the opportunity for students to experience the joy of
soaring and to learn how to fly sail planes at a low cost. Presently, the club
owns two sail planes: a Schleicher ASK-13 (two seat trainer), and a
Schempp-Hirth Ka-8B (single seat). Tow costs are charged for car launch.
Occasionally aero tows are also available. Beginners usually need about 40
flights with instructor before solo, and 35 flights and 7 hours solo to prepare
