Recreation Club,
President: Joshua Batterson
Members have access to facilities which currently include mountain bikes, a
pool table, fussball, darts, air hockey, ping-pong table, weight room, racquet ball court,
tennis courts, and a sand volleyball court. A
key to the recreation room may be obtained from the Recreation Club president.
Soccer is open to all students, faculty, and staff.
Generally a game is played each wednesday on campus or at a nearby field. UTSI
also participates in local tournaments throughout the year.
UTSI's home filed includes a smaller sized regulation
soccer field equipped with goals, nets, and plenty of grass.
UTSI currently has two tennis courts with many tennis
racquets and tennis balls for recreation club members to use.
A sand volleyball court is located near the tennis courts
in the recreation area. UTSI students also participate in AEDC volleyball
tournaments in the fall.
2006 AEDC Volleyball
The Softball team provides the opportunity for students, faculty, and staff
to play in the AEDC summer league by providing basic equipment for
team play. The emphasis is on participation and everyone who attends normally
has the opportunity to play.

A single hoop basketball court is located in the
recreation area. More basketball facilities can be used at the nearby AEDC
fitness center which all students have access to.
