The Aero Club was formed to provide students, faculty, and staff and AEDC personnel the opportunity to obtain flight instruction and ultimately a private's pilot license for less than what it costs elsewhere. The club currently owns a 1975 Cessna 150M, which may be rented for $75 ($70 when purchased in a block) an hour. The club has several flight instructors available to provide flight instruction whenever student schedules permit. The aircraft is located at the Tullahoma Airport.
